BEIJING (July 8, 2024) – Nissan sales in China reached 52,852 units in June.
The sales volume of Dongfeng Nissan (including the Nissan, Venucia and INFINITI brands) reached 49,838 units in June. The LCV business represented by Zhengzhou Nissan (ZNA) sold 3,014 units in June.
Year to date, Nissan has sold 339,297 units in China.
“Market conditions have remained challenging this year,” said Shohei Yamazaki, Chairperson of the Management Committee for China and President of Dongfeng Motor Ltd. (DFL). “To better adapt to the ever-changing market and consumer demands, Nissan increased choices of grade under current models in the first half of the year and accelerated new energy vehicle development by leveraging local assets. We will honor our commitment to Chinese consumers by continuously delivering value with a more balanced product portfolio for our customers”.
“In June, the Nissan Sylphy family contributed strong sales. The Nissan Altima and SUV lineup also were strong performers. These models and new grades of current models will help us satisfy the diversified needs of Chinese customers.” Yamazaki added.
