Dongfeng Venucia Motor Company established to elevate the
development of Venucia in China

Wuhan, China (February 7, 2017) – Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (DFL) today announced the establishment of Dongfeng Venucia Motor Company (DFV) in order to elevate the brand power and business development of the local joint-venture brand Venucia.

The executive team of Dongfeng Venucia Motor Company includes Managing Director ZHOU Xianpeng,who is former Deputy Managing Director of Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company (DFN), and Deputy Managing Directors XU Jianming, GAO Guolin, MA Lei, and Taiji TOYOTA. They will manage the nine departments of DFV including the Venucia Design Center.

The newly established Dongfeng Venucia is one of the seven business units of DFL. The other business units are DFN, Dongfeng Infiniti Motor Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Motor Parts and Components Group Co., Ltd. and Equipment Co. of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd..

Through optimized resource allocation, management efficiency and economy of scale, our overall competitiveness will be also improved.”The Venucia brand was established in 2010 to meet the increasingly diversified demand of Chinese consumers. Venucia has already launched six product series, including D50, R50, R30, T70, T90 and e30.

Moving forward, Dongfeng Venucia will adhere to its brand positioning “Better for Better”, providing quality and stylish products and excellent services at reasonable prices. Venucia will launch at least one new model each year and continue to enrich its diversified and competitive product line-up which includes sedans, SUVs, MPVs and new energy vehicles.
